ThermaX PEI 1010 (polyether imide) is one of the strongest and most durable materials on the market. ULTEM 1010 is made from resin manufactured by Sabic.
ThemaX PEI 1010 can boast of its extremely high performance in the industry. PEI is used when very high mechanical properties are required. PEI also performs at high temperatures (TG: 217C!), is flame retardant and has a high resistance to chemicals.

PEI is one of the few 3D printer filaments that are certified and approved for use in, for example, the aviation and defense industry. Compared to metal, PEI offers weight savings and enables complex 3D models. PEI Ultem passes the requirements of, for example , FAR 25.853 and OSU 65/65
