PETG filament (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
is a more heat-resistant and stronger material than PLA filament. It is the same material used in PET bottles but with a certain modification (with glycol) to be able to be used with 3D printers. The material also withstands chemicals better than other materials.
PETG is still an easy material to print with and works with most 3D printers on the market.
PETG filament is often used in 3D printing of, for example,
- Boxes and warning
- Electronics housings etc.
- Resistance to many chemicals
- Some transparent PETG filaments are approved for contact with food.
- We stock PETG ESD filament for antistatic protection and the manufacture of electrical boxes, etc.
- PETG-CF is carbon fiber reinforced and provides parts with extra rigidity
